When Benjamin Franklin published the colonies’ first political cartoon in 1754, titled Join, or Die!, only 1/3 of colonists supported breaking from the Crown, 1/3 remained loyal to it, and the rest preferred to stay neutral on the sidelines.
So what changed over the next 20 years? Join us to learn whose profits, taxes, and livelihoods were on the line and how they convinced the undecided in favor of a revolution.

When and How Long?
Tours run seasonally with select evening and weekend times, lasting about 75 minutes and covering 1.25mi. Comfortable shoes are encouraged.
